The innovative manufacturing factory in Pune spans 67 acres, almost the size of 38 football fields. Production lines, support infrastructure, and equipment such as 3D printers and laser inspection technologies will be available. They will manufacture jet engines and locomotive technologies, as well as wind turbines and water treatment systems for the oil and gas and agriculture industries. "The factory will allow us to swiftly modify output in response to demand while utilizing the same people and space."

GE Aerospace and Tata Advanced Systems Ltd have renewed their manufacturing agreement, which calls for the latter to continue producing and supplying various commercial aviation engine components to GE's global engine production facilities.

GE operates 14 manufacturing facilities in the nation, including a multi-modal complex in Pune that produces aviation parts. Tata Advanced Systems, Mahindra Aero structures, Godrej & Boyce, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited are among GE's aviation supply chain partners in India
